Since the start of winter, my wife’s 09 MDX has been getting sporadic P0507 and “Check Emissions system” message.
I checked for vacuum leaks and inspected the gas cap. Looks fine. I cleaned the throttle body 15k kms ago, and it was clean.
Car idles at 1000 and goes up to 1300 when engines warmed up and then only CEL comes ON as soon as I put it in park.
Its got 250K kms(160K miles)
Any ideas appreciated. 🙂

Hey Scotty,
I went over some of your videos again, made some notes and went back to the car again.
Sure enough I’ve found a vacuum leak in a conspicuous spot I’d never think of.
Got a hose cut for $2.30 at auto parts store and fixed it. Car runs like a top again.
