Wife wanted another Fusion, so I decided to go for a 2.5L for longevity. Also heard 2017.5 fixed battery issues (common ‘17 complaint). As far as maintenance, I’ve seen others opt for transmission fluid changes every 30k miles. Bought this one at 40k miles, previously FL owned (MI now). How durable are these transmissions?

The Fusions are decent cars as long don't get the small turbocharged engine.
