I called a honda dealer in my area and asked them how much they charge for a steering rack job on a 07 honda accord v6 and he told me 2500 with parts and labor. the honda tech said it was going to be a remanufactured oem rack. So my question is there any other companies out there that uses oem parts for this or just go with the dealer. P.S Im not going to them to get the job done i called another honda dealer and the job was only 1500 in total. THANKS
$1500 on a 13 year old vehicle, how about going to rockauto.com look around and check the warranties. That should be sufficient and hire someone to drip in in...
3 year or 36k warranty, just don’t ever mention the mileage and go with the 3 years if it fails.
Yeah I’d just get an aftermarket ‘made in Thailand’ rack. They work perfectly fine.
