Hello Scotty! I am 20 years old and soon to be licensed,  and i wanted to buy a used Honda Civic EX between years 2014-2016

And i was wondering are any of these good reliable cars and somewhat cheap maintenance?

It would also be a automatic transmission they all have CVT

Honda CVTs (especially those yrs) weren’t that great. Honda has improved the technology somewhat, however my opinion, Subaru is making a better CVT than Honda is. Honda builds the greatest motors in the world with a failure rate of 1 in 344. The Subaru 4 cyl Boxer motors aren’t bad but the earlier ones have head gasket issues. However they have fixed that now. I’d honestly look more at the Toyota Camry or Corolla.

The CVT issues were fixed in 2016 and I'd swing for a 2013 as it had the 5 speed automatic, or get a 2017+ with the CVT those years weren't the best for the transmissions.

Try & get the 2.0L NA engine.
