Hi Scotty -

Thanks for your good work! I hope you're enjoying your trip to New England and hope you get up (down) to Maine!

I'll be traveling domestically soon and would like to know if you have any thoughts or ideas for alternative, cheaper car rental options. It seems to me that $500 a day to rent a car is not only absurd but usurious, even w the issues that the rental car industry has been plagued w this past year (plant closings, chip shortages, etc). A lot of the car rental sites aren't even offering rental pricing. My thought is to wait out this mess until the industry has normalized somewhat, but not too long.

KUTGW!

I still love my Regal!

The price is the price. Rental companies are just doing what our "wonderful" capitalist economy allows them to do. They won't stay high forever.
