Hey Scotty! Which car do you think is best; a 2000 Lexus IS200 gasoline with 195 000 miles, or a 2006 Lexus IS200 diesel with 137 000 miles? Both have manual transmissions. I live in Norway, Europe and i am good at fixing cars. Thanks
Well they're both good dependable cars. We don't have the diesel versions in America. I'd go with the newer one myself. And I think the Gas one has a timing belt. If it hasn't been swapped it's going to need one. Even if it was swapped at 100k its due for another. If your comfortable working on the diesel I'd go for that one. Manual trans, it'll last forever if maintained.
I think the newer the better.
I'd get the newer diesel
I suggest to get the 2006 is200 since it is new enough for today's society.
Go with the 2006 diesel one.
