Replacement radio for a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500

Hello Scotty.  Recently my radio in my 2012 Ram 2500 truck gave out.  I took it into the dealer to see what went wrong and they said that the radio is most likely toast from a recent battery change.  I am wondering where would be the best place to find a radio that had a digital screen that is not too much money?  I looked on Amazon but not sure what would fit my truck the best.  I don't want to spend too much on it but at the same time have something that is a bit more updated.  The dealer quoted me $500 for a regular replacement radio.  I would like to get something under that.  Thank you for reading my question and have a great day!

How in the world would changing a battery take out your radio?  If the "battery change" occurred at the dealership and you got the car back with a dead radio, I'd say the dealer screwed up and owes you a radio.  Has anyone thought to check the appropriate fuses or are they just trying to rip you off for another $500?

Try to ask around at your local car audio joints for something like this. And don’t forget to ask about warranty & seamless compatibility with your vehicle’s steering knobs & buttons.
