Right front wheel noise while braking to a stop

I have a 2015 XTS Cadillac with 51,000 miles. I'm getting scrubbing-like noise from my right front wheel. He said the rotor and pads were great and showed little wear. The mechanic said the rotor was rusted and probably warped. He wanted to do a front brake job for about $450. I had the rotor resurfaced and am still getting that noise. I'm thinking wheel bearing.

What's your diagnosis?

This is very confusing.

it's not really the sort of thing you diagnose over the internet. More of a hands on thing.

If the wheel wobbles then yeah it's your bearing, but it could also be damaged tires, stuck calipers, or other things.

Do you hear the sound all the time, or only when braking?

Have you tried moving that wheel to a different side?
