What’s your thoughts buying parts via Rock Auto?

I've bought plenty of parts from Rock Auto. Usually plenty of options for aftermarket brands, and they're a good source for oem parts other than going to a dealer and their prices are pretty good.

Thank you.

See below:  I use them a lot, and never had any issues.

I buy a lot of parts from them. You need to keep an eye on shipping costs which can eat up savings if parts are coming from multiple warehouses. Rockauto just about always has a 5% off coupon code which you can easily find with an internet search.

You can frequently get really good deals on closeouts. To find them for your vehicle, use the following URL, substituting the Rockauto car code for "NNNNNNN":

http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=NNNNNNN&m=wc&l=en&html=true

You can find the car code by looking up the Rockauto catalog for your vehicle, you'll see it in the URL. For example looking up parts for a 1965 Marlin with 327 V8 we find that the car code is 1422166:

https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/american+motors,1965,marlin,5.3l+327cid+v8,1422166

This would make the closeout parts list for that car the following:

http://www.rockauto.com/RSS/vehiclefeeds.php?carcode=1422166&m=wc&l=en&html=true

You can do this for any vehicle in their catalog.

Thank you.

I use them often. They seem to have the best prices, even taking shipping into consideration. I usually cross shop them with Amazon or the Dealer to see who has the best deal. Usually in bigger more expensive items, RockAuto wins on on pricing + shipping. On smaller cheaper items, Amazon wins out. And sometimes, the Dealers gets my money if they have some coupon or special.
