Hi Scotty,
I bought a 2014 svt raptor w 30k miles. Occasionally the truck will idle rough until I press the gas and it then smooths out. Cleaned throttle body and maf but it still happens, could it be a fuel module or pump? Sensor problem? Thank you!
Well it could be tons of things. Have a more commonly. It's a small vacuum lake. When you're rev up the engine that makes the engine go faster. So a small vacuum like will not affect the running that much as it will. When the engine is just idling. I would start by having the engine smoke weed checked with the smoke machine to see if any smoke comes out with his vacuum legs
Thank you will try that out!
Thank you will try that out! Forgot to mention it doesn't always do that but will still try!
If you have a scan tool handy, Short-term fuel trims should be right around 0%. If it's a decent distance above that, you're running lean, and a vacuum leak could be suspect. If one side is right around 0%, but the other side is positive, you have a vacuum leak on one side.
Appreciate it!
