Hello Scotty,
I have a 2005 Ford F-150 with 144K miles on it. (Just bought it with 2 months ago) It runs fine and shifts fine accept when you decide to pass. For example, doing 60 MPH, stomp on the gas, engine starts to roar, picks up speed but when it reaches a certain point the downshift is very hard. Wondering what you might think it is.
Thanks

Do you know the maintenance history on the transmission? I'd check and see how the transmission fluid looks. I wouldn't be surprised if it is simply wearing out at that age/mileage.
