Royal Purple vs Redline vs Lucas

This could be general, but I have a 1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a T56 Borg Warner Manual Transmission and a 10 bolt Positraction rear end at 104000 miles.  Just bought it and got to do some TLC on it.  There is much to learn on how to do maintenance on this lovely vehicle.  I have been getting mixed reviews on Royal Purple on the Facebook groups I am a part of.  I particularly want to try Royal Purple and all their line up as I a partially inspired by Scotty and his take on it.  I know Redline and Lucas are good ones as far as I know.  But I would like professional knowledge to judge and help me decide the best route.  I got to do a tune up and replace all the fluids and filters and other stuff on my recently bought Trans Am.  I would hope Scotty could help answer this too.  Someone said that the Royal Purple will eat the carbon blocker rings in the transmission.  Do not know if it is true or not.

Well customers of mine who used Royal purple  are a pretty happy group and some of the guys race cars with it. I personally have seen no problems with use of their oil

What about Manual Transmission Synchromax, their gear oil, and power steering fluids? Same thing?
