running lean in vaccum leak pcv.

2014 camry 161000 miles.
vacuum leak in idle speed 28% long term fuel. can i cut the pcv hose in have and tape the end to the intake and pvc end to the air. is is ok since 2014 camry very hard to access to change. i paid 150$ to change . after that engine light came on po171 running lean.

No, that's the way PCV was done around 1960 and is not suitable for modern engines. Do a proper repair.
