I recently got a 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum. It is from Canada. I know you said Toyota treats their frames for rust but I was wondering if I should still give it a coat of fluid film or something to help. It does have some superficial rust but other wise looks okay. Thanks in advance and you're awesome.

It wasn't intentional. My phone kept saying it wasn't going through but I guess it was.
I've found Fluid Film to be effective in retarding rust. (Nothing stops rust completely.) There are similar products available as well.
I spray the stuff on underneath my winter-use vehicles each fall. You need to get good coverage and get it into nooks and crannies. I buy gallon cans and use an air-powered spray gun to apply it.
Putting a good undercoating always helps to stay rust free!!
