Bought an old 2005 grand prix gxp 5.3L with only 47000 miles. Got the S1000 when I heard what a mess those engines are. Questions are: How do you know it's working, what do those leds on the unit mean, and do you think I saved this engine in time?
Gas mileage went down slightly but no obvious performance change...

Well only time will tell but with that low mileage it should still last quite some time if it would have been damaged you would hear the noise in the engine now anyways
