The person inquiring to your car listing may request you go to vin-enterprises.com. It costs 27 bucks and is a scam. These people are not interested in your car. They are fishing people to go spend money at that website.

There are many of those scams going around. If anyone asks for a history report from a specific site, it is a scam. I always deal with it by telling them the truth: I provide CarFax reports, free of charge, on every car I sell to any customer who requests one in person. If you do not like CarFax, feel free to order a report from wherever you would like at your own expense.
