I have XTool ($500-700)scanner maybe 2 years old. I noticed the your go to scanner is the AUTEL. I'm under the impression that you really like that. Was wondering if you have any experience with the FORScan? If you have any comments about the FORScan. Does the FORScan need a laptop, desk top i perfer desk top. Wireless or USB connection. I'm looking to buy AUTEL scanner same price range (500-700). I also have the Blue Driver scanner that works with my phone.
I have 2020 Ford Ranger, 2020 Ford EDGE ST, 65 Mustang Fastback, several other family members cars that i work and of course close friends.

pretty powerful for privately developed software. Keep in mind the advanced functions require you to buy a license.
Does the FORScan need a laptop, desk top i perfer desk top.
The software doesn't know or care, but you want to drag a desktop computer out to your car every time you want to diagnose it?
