So ok I know I ask little bit of questions but I'm trying to find a perfect car for a dealership yeah lame but it's all I can get at this point
any way before I start what's your opinion on a scion I was wondering I assume you think there trash
well here's the scenario your stuck in a town 1000 miles away from home and you hit a dealership you have 10 grand in your pocket and flying a flight is a little out of range you got enough for gas but your limited on your options
you have 2005 Buick LaCrosse with 93,500 miles, a 2003 Saturn Vue 190,700, 2004 Volvo S40 115,900 miles, 2009 Scion XB base 105,900 miles, 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis 94,550 miles or a 2006 Mitsubishi Endeavor 219,000
which one of those cars would you drive off the lot of those where your only options and be able to make it home and go another adventure for more years to come with proper maintenance and not see many problems for those years to come? Thank you.
Would it kill ya to use a period or two?
My eyes hurt from reading that. {blackemo}:exhausted:
Well I never told you, you had to read it💁♂️
Hey, please be nice to Joe! He’s only trying to help you out..
And he’s right you know, typing long unedited posts, causes eye strain & doesn’t let you grasp information quickly.
I would go Scion or Grand Marquis. The engine in the 08-09 Scion XB tends to use excessive oil also none of those are worth anywhere near 10 grand. For 10k I could get a 2015 Toyota Corolla but if those are your only options I'd eliminate the Saturn and Mitsubishi and see what other members say.
I would go with a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis, which shares a platform with the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car, which can last a long time. They are easy to work on, parts readily available, and fairly reliable.
Of those choices, and without know too many details, I’d go Scion. Scion is a Toyota brand.
Assuming everything checks out with the car.
For the scenario you describe I would choose the 2008 Mercury Gran Marquis. Comfortable for long distance travel. Reliable and easy to repair if something needs attention.
I would get the Grand Mercury.
Scotty says Scion or Mercury but since the 09 XB is an oil burner Grand Marquis is the best choise
