Hey scotty I just bought a 2011 scion tc with 140k miles about three months ago
the owners manual says it is normal to burn a bit of oil for this engine. I haven't really seen the oil level go down since the last oil change i did a couple weeks ago, is this true and if it is will using royal purple and changing it on time help prevent it from burning?
also do you think I overpaid for the car ? I paid 6k total dollars for it.

cuz well made cars but if it burns oil you did over pay Royal purple will not keep the oil from burning it is a good oil but if it's burning oil it's going to burn oil regardless of what type of oil you put in it. But do change the PCV valve it's cheap and that can suck andd make it burn
