Need help choosing a diesel HD pickup. Toyota not an option.
Scotty, can you give us guys looking for a diesel HD truck some guidance on which motor is best - 6.7L power stroke, Cummins, or Duramax?
The 6.7 Cummins is the best diesel you can buy right now. Just remember everything wrapped around it is junk.
That being said the only downfall to the 6.7 Powerstroke is the horrible 10 speed transmission Ford refuses to improve on. Otherwise the 6.7 Powerstroke is a great motor.
I honestly don’t see very many people buying or driving newer GM diesels. Words definitely getting out about overall GM quality and it’s not good at all.

My uncle had 2 ram pickups both with cummins engines. He never had any issues with that truck.
@USAFdozerpilot is correct. You really can't beat the Cummins diesels. But man, everything else in those trucks is suspect. Great interiors in the Rams, but Stellantis quality....eh....I just don't know.
