SCOTTY I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!. So I have a 07 scion tc and my old lady got stuck in a small ditch and when we pulled it out there was ATF pouring out of the bell housing hole (Never had a problem with the trans). The housing and trans looks fine So I pull it out thinking it’s the tq converter seal and I changed it along with the axle seals. Put it back together, start it and it’s still leaking (bad). If it’s not a crack inthe tq converter. What would it be?????????? My only vehicle atm and I’m in need of help! Also when I had the trans out I took one bottom bell housing bolt out and it when it broke loose it bubbled up like it had air behind it.

Pump mounting bolts? Who knows.

This is exactly why when you yank out a tranny, you tear it apart and rebuild it with all new seals, or replace the whole thing. Otherwise you'll be taking it in and out.

I have a 2007 Scion tC and it was leaking Fluid out of the bell housing and I couldn’t even make it 1 mile up the road. So I get it towed home and pull the trans out. I change the torque converter seal along with the axle seals. Also I pulled out a bottom bell housing bolt and I sounded like it had pressure behind it because it bubbled. Put it all back together and it’s still doing the same thing? What could it be. The only thing I can think of is that the converter has a crack or where the converter shaft isn’t sealing properly. I never had a issue with it until my old lady put it into a 15 degree ditch while snowing. Nothing under it is messed up no cracks no dirt piled up anywhere. Do you think buying a new converter would fix it? Pls help!
