Hey Scotty,
As we approach retirement I am thinking a minivan might be in our future as the kids and grandkids live quite a distance from us. We had a Chrysler Town & Country years ago that my wife loved - me not so much. I know your son bought the Toyota Sienna and would like to get feedback on that and your opinion on the others - Honda, Kia and Chrysler. Thanks
Stay away from Chrysler, they're junk. That goes double for Kia.

The Honda Odyssey has a history of weak transmissions, though they may well be better in recent years. Toyota Sienna has been the best bet in minivans for a long time.
Thanks Chuck
Thanks GT
You're welcome.
The latest Sienna is built on Toyota hybrid technology. TMK, it is only available as a hybrid. But don't let that scare you away. Toyota has the history to prove that their hybrid technology is resilient.
For the Odyssey, stay away from the ZF 9 Speed Transmissions. They had major problems. Honda has a new in house transmission, and I trust that more than the 9 Speed. Granted, we don't have any data on it, since it is so new.
