Only had an oil smell when I revved little hard one day at home. Other than that never a smell. Does has some residue on tail pipe. When I changed spark plugs I found some oil on the spark end of all plugs on passenger side. Any idea where that’s coming from?

Oil on the outside of the spark plugs is usually from a leaking valve cover gasket. This can also result in an "oil smell" due to oil dripping on hot engine parts.

Oil residue on the spark plug electrodes would be from an oil burning engine. In that case the simplest thing to try first would be replacing the PCV valve.
