Scotty What model Honda should I buy between 2014 and 2018 accord? Any motors or transmissions should i stay away from? Thanks
I'd avoid the 2014 model year and stick to 2015, 2016, and 2017 models. You want to make sure the engine transmission are in good shape before you buy it.
Usually the V6 engines have more transmission issues so I'd stick to the I4.
My 2020 Accord Sport 2.0T has been very good to me so far over the first 11k miles.
My uncle has a 2018 Accord 1.5T. I never asked him about any complaints he has.
Well they're all pretty well made I personally to go for a four-cylinder of any of those years versus if he's six because they last the longest and get slightly better gas mileage
In addition to what was already said, if you decide to get the V6 get the J35Y2 engine which came only with the manual transmission. The other V6 (J35Y1) that came only with the automatic has cylinder deactivation (or what Honda calls VCM) which can wear out/damage your engine over time. The J35Y2 does NOT have VCM.
