I own a 2003 Lexus IS200 with the 4 speed automatic and it has done 242,000km. 

I live in Australia but I’m going overseas for a while - it could be for just 1 year or it could turn into a few. Should I sell the Lexus or store it? 

I got a good deal on the car - I bought it from clients of mine 2 and a half years ago with 190,000km for just $3,000 (AUD).

It was owned by them since new, maintained perfectly mechanically and I haven’t had to put any money into it except regular servicing with a good mechanic. 

Although the paintwork is a little damaged here and there it drives perfectly. I know you’ll say the decision depends on my finances but if I keep it I know when I return home I’ll have a quality, well maintained car which hasn’t been wrecked or treated poorly. I also don’t want to end up with a car which needs everything replacing by then due to age, even though it’s a Lexus.
