Hi there,
My son left his car parked in town, unlocked! A thief tried to force-start it - and failed. I have bought a new barrel. In terms of installing it, what is the order? Do I take the barrel with the security key to a locksmith, or do we install the barrel then have a locksmith program it? Or will it just start once the barrel is installed? In other words, what’s the sequence?
FYI it’s a 2003 Holden Barina (rebadged Opel Corsa).

Have the locksmith reprogram it if need be but if you're not changing out of the electronic parts it might just work on its own
