Scotty,
I'm in the market for a used SUV. I've been looking at purchasing a 2010-2012 Toyota Sequoia or a 2010-2012 Chevy Tahoe. I watched your video on both the Tahoe and Sequoia and wanted to get your expert advice. The Tahoes seem to have about 10-15 thousand miles lower that the Sequoias in the under $20,000 range. I also watched your video on not buying a car now so I have time because my 2004 Honda Odyssey runs like a dream.
Those sequoias are way nicer in that generation, they have the nice 5.7 engine, really nice leather interior and is very good quality being based on the tundra. The tahoes are kind of unknown on their problems, but the sequoias are bulletproof and get tons resale value after time. Except the older sequoias.
Agree with the above. Sequoia. Even if it has 50k more miles at your price point.
If you can get a good price, the Sequoia, hands down..
When you do decide to pull the trigger, be sure to have it inspected by a professional mechanic, before purchase.
Definitely the Sequoia.
Definitely go with the Sequoia, it will last longer (and most likely with fewer issues) than the Tahoe. GM quality has been on a downhill trajectory since the mid-2000s.
