Sequoia vs GX 460

My wife has decided that I can get a new car! She has narrowed it down to 22 Toyota Sequoia or a 22 Lexus GX 460.

I know the Sequoia is much bigger then the GX and they both are pigs on gas. Which one will make it 15 years with the least amount of problems. We had a 16 4Runner and she hated the bumpy ride.

thanks

Toyota all day.  It will cost half the price of the Lexus to repair, when necessary.  You don't buy these beasts if you're worried about gas prices.

Before you get the Sequoia (or even the Lexus), go test drive it. They are built on the same platform as the 4Runner.

Sequoia would get my money, see them regularly for sale with close to 300,000 miles

I would get the Toyota Sequoia because Lexus GX460 will cost a lot in terms of maintenance and repairs.

Go with the Sequoia; we bought one in 2004 and it's still running without any problems. And definitely cheaper to maintain and repair compared to Lexus.
