I recently bought a 2011 Shelby with 16k miles. The original owner only put 7k miles in 7 years, and the second owner put 9k miles in 2 years. Original owner was in the military, commonly deployed, so the car mostly sat in a garage, and the second owner is someone I trust and has not put serious strain on the car.
What do you recommend I should watch out or check out for this "old" car with low mileage?

I would say the best thing you can do is drive it more than the previous owners did.
Check the tires, they are 9 years old and most likely hard.
