Common issue. You can start by trying to make a small adjustment on your shifter linkage.

There's videos on youtube on how to do it. You might get lucky.

(Most times this isn't successful) ☹️

That Shift To Park micro switch is inside your  Automatic Transmission Control Assembly.

(center console shifter)

The little lever on it can become deformed over time and won't operate the switch.

You can buy the entire assembly. GM Part # 19179515. (about $200).
There's videos on youtube on how to take the old one out and replace it.

If you're the more adventurous type you can open up your unit and replace the micro switch inside.
MFD P/N: DC3C-A1LB for under $7 bucks.

2) Where the thing is located (it's #34)((#36 is your shifter knob)):

3) Micro Switch DC3C-A1LB

4) Location of the Not In Park micro switch in the Transmission Control Assembly.

(It's the switch with its lever contacting the big piece of white plastic.
