My 04 Infiniti g35 coupe base is giving a code that says #5 shift solenoid is bad. How do i know which one that is for sure?

The bad news is that you need to either buy a repair manual for that car, or take it to a competent mechanic. The good news is that you'd have to do that to get it fixed anyway.
