Hey Scotty I’m from the Erie pa region and my mom has a relatively well I’d say very expensive car that is 2019 and it seems to be having a concerning problem. It’s a 2019 jeep Cherokee trail hawk elite (the cars don’t come with stickers on them Bc their so expensive) (and not I’m not trying to brag because I’m sure your bringing home a lot of bacon). When in auto mode driving it seems to be making a loud cluncking noise like in between gears. This is very broadly described here as it is pretty hard to describe. Theirs 41k on the car and every dealer we’ve called so far seems like they are only excepting it as a trade in rather then to service the vehicle. If this is a known problem or anything like that please shoot me back

If it's the transmission clunking, you want to get that looked at right away.

Yea the dealer keeps blowing me off about it and is trying to just make me trade it in rather then them actually look at it and I believe it’s the transmission or at least something on the drive train it happens at complete random and I couldn’t make the car do it by trying as it’s random

Theirs a 60k drive train but the bumper to bumper was out at 36k
Go to an independent mechanic or another dealer and ask to check the transmission. Of anything is wrong with it, ask your dealer to fix it under warranty. Don’t settle. I think your dealer knows that they should fix the issue for free and they just don’t want to do that and distract you by offering trades.

Nah it’s a trail hawk it’s like an off-road type deal (if you would)
Transmission software may need updated. Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep has issues. Possible recall on it.
