Should i buy a 2000 toyota celica 90,000km

Hey scotty looking to buy this 2000 toyota celica standerd tranny 90,000km for my first car that i found at a used car dealer. Hes selling it for $4,000 CAD it has been sitting for a while so it just needs new breaks and tires but everything looks good. Should i buy it for my first car?

There are 3 things wrong here.

  1. A dealer- they will rip you off
  2. Engine known for oil sludge.- http://www.toyotaproblems.com/oil-sludge/
  3. No mentioning of how much rust is on the current vehicle.- you live in Canada and with that age of a car, there is rust on the car somewhere.

I would keep looking.

No, hell no. That generation Celica was junk. I wouldn't even pay $3000 CAD for that thing.

Eh little steep for the price, You can get a Toyota Corolla for that price it could last longer.
