I am shopping for a new car and am looking into the 2021 Mazda CX-5 , should go for the 4x4 turbo 2.5 or the FWD non turbo 2.5 engine .

Putting cylinder deactivation on a four cylinder engine is a recipe for disaster and makes no sense since you get good fuel economy with a four cylinder alone. The turbo option will put more wear on the engine.
I know Toyota and Mazda are working together with their technologies but I would keep looking.
