I'm looking at buying a 2005-2006 Honda CRV. I found one on Facebook marketplace with 206K miles on it for $3500. I know the CRV's are supper reliable but I have concerns about buying a vehicle with so many miles already. Is it worth buying at that price point or should I keep searching for one that has less miles?

Per Scotty, Honda automatic transmissions were a weak spot back then, so that's something to be careful of. At that age and mileage the way the vehicle has been maintained is going to be at least as, if not more, important than the manufacturer's reputation. That thing is getting close to 2 decades old. Fact is that even if it died tomorrow it would be considered to have been a long-lasting, reliable vehicle.

Some issues are to be expected in an older car, you need to determine whether those issues are major or minor. Have a good mechanic give it a thorough inspection before purchase - and if you decide to buy try to get it cheaper.
