hi scotty,
i am thinking of buying a 2006 scion tc with 139500. my mechanic did a pre purchase inspection. the car needs new valve/pump,fluid, power steering battery and tires. total cost $1500. seller is selling it $3000. i tried negotiating but the seller is firm on the price.my budget i’m on a budget (max $5,000) because im saving for a down payment.
should i buy this car and complete the repairs or keep looking for another car?

He's out of his mind asking that kind of money for a car that needs that much work and it might need even more runaway
