2001 Civic lube rubber window seals, door seals, sunroof seals, what product? Locks work manually, not remotely.

1. I have a 2001 Civic Ex, runs great, what should I use to lube the window rubber seals, the windows move slowly going up or down and the motor labors, i think the rubber needs lube, what should I use? I'll also do the sunroof seal where I can reach it.
2. My remote makes my lock mechanism make a noise but it won't unlock the doors, the inside up/down lever locks/unlocks the doors fine, what do I need to do to fix this?

1- Use Silicon spray for the rubber parts.

2- If you can normally lock/unlock the doors with key, then I would say that the door luck actuators need to be replaced.

Does silicon spray really work to rejuvenate rubber parts? I heard otherwise, that it’s not so good, but I don’t know.

I gather it would work for trunk seals and roof seals too?

The sole open spray helps lubrication. If you want to rejuvenate the rubber, per Scotty’s recommendation, use AT205.
