Scotty:  I appreciate you taking time to give me guidance on this.  My Dad passed away earlier this year, and I will be going to Illinois to take care of my Mom.  I live in New York; and while in Illinois, I will need a car for local and highway driving to/from Saint Louis, Missouri which is 1 and one-half hours each way.

Thank you so very much!

Sincerely,

M. Simmons

I'd pass. Too many problems with the 08-10 Accords, too many miles, and imo they are asking too much for the age and miles.

Thanks, Kerem!

I purchased a 2008 Accord EX-L in 2012 with 47,000 on the odometer.  It met the criteria for the Honda paid valve and ring job back in late 2015 and had that job done, and now it has 197,000 miles.  It's been a great car.  I will NEVER own another Ford (it replaced a 2001 Taurus, bought new).
