Hello,
Currently going car shopping and I saw a 2000 Toyota 4Runner with around 242,000 miles on it with an asking price of $4,000. The VIN is JT3GN86R7Y0150210 if that helps. Should I strongly consider buying this as a Point A to Point B vehicle? And/or does anyone have any experience owning one of these?

- Get a pre-purchase inspection and make sure they check the timing belt and frame

Well they are great vehicles if taken care of. I've seen them with 400,000 mi on them. But I would have a mechanic like me. Check it out before I'd buy if I were you you never know with something that old
