Hello, I’m between getting a Hyundai Accent 2018 with 104k miles on it or Toyota Yaris 2015 with a 123k miles on it. The Hyundai accent is cheaper and I’m on a budget.

Hyundai/Kia products are notoriously poor quality. You might luck out but it's a real crap shoot. Are you feeling lucky?
There's a reason the Accent is cheaper. Hyundai is notorious for oil burning cars. They're cheaply made as well. Personally, I'd get the Yaris.

Toyota is a much better quality make than any Kia/Hyundai will ever be. If you do the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule (including transmission fluid changes every 60k miles, most manufacturers claim "lifetime fluid" -it's a lie) it should last quite a while.
