2015 corolla LE Eco plus sedan 4d with 20,000 miles 1 owner. Talked the guy down to $9k. Seems like it's in great condition, looks like private sale value is around $13k. Is this a good deal?
Sounds like a good deal, just bring the Corolla to a mechanic to make sure the Corolla is in good shape. Ask to look at the title, if it says salvage, rebuilt or branded don’t buy the car. If the name and address do not match the sellers name and address, you dealing with a curb stoner (A car dealer who sells cars privately) so this should raise of few red flags. Be vigilant about any used car, even from a dealer can trust.
To clarify if the car is salvage title I would sill have a mechanic check it out and if it is in good shape haggle on the price for example here in California clean Corollas are extremly expensive but if there is no frame damage then what the heck he should still consider it.
Title is clean and in the guys dads name (Same last name as his facebook name)
The thing is the title may be clean but accidents are often not reported so have a mechanic check it out make sure mechanical components are fine and the car is NOT totaled.
If it all checks out good I would buy it.
Yes that is a fine car 2015 model year was good the Le ECO has the best fuel economy and most power the price seems good as well. I would have a mechanic check it out and make sure it is in good shape mechanically and if it is I would snatch it up!
Thanks, owner passed away and family is selling it
