If it gets checked out and it checks out not a bad deal. Do keep in mind that it will be a 22 year old car at this point. So preventive maintenance maybe in order? Ignition coils may cause check engine light (100k miles) so see if that's fine. Me mother had one of these (year 2000 though) and she had issues with rear lights. Plastic brittle so they break. After some solder and electric tape it was good enough. O2 sensor threw on check engine as well around 100k for her. Not sure if yours will have the same issues.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal. Just make sure it has a clean title and have it inspected by a mechanic to make sure it isn't hiding any problems.

Price isn't bad. I would have a mechanic check it out first though. For common problems, we have a page on it in the Used Car Buying Guide called Toyota & Honda Common Problems. The most common complaint I found was that the check engine light would come on... Thats why a mechanical inspection is important.

All in all, they are great cars. If it checks out, it could be a good buy. Just keep in mind the age.
