its a 1990 nissan 300zx na for 5k with 124.000 miles. He says the engine and transmission runs good but leaks oil sometimes which can be good or bad. So should I buy it as my first car and is it a reliable car or I should pass.

I would pass on this. $5000 is way too much for a car that is leaking oil.
