I'm looking for a dependable used car. First one is a 2013 Honda CR-V ExL AWD, automatic with 80,255 miles. Second is a 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited, AWD, automatic with 137,573 miles, Both are at dealerships. Which would be the better choice?
Those are both excellent choices. You don't say how much they are. If they are similar in price then it depends on how important the AWD feature is to you. If it is super important then get the Outback. If it isn't all that important then get the CR-V.
Scotty put the CR-V in his 5 best SUVs to buy list but said not to get the AWD one because 1. they have problems 2. the transmissions are even more weak Subaru makes a much better AWD system but then again as a whole vehicle the CR-V is hands down better, though FWD would have been prefered
If you need AWD more often than not, go with the Subaru. That’s their speciality. Otherwise, go with the Honda.
I'd go with the Honda.
Honda, hands down....
I would go with the Honda. Subaru are a little pricey when it comes to repairs.
