Hey all!!
I have a 2003 Mercedes Benz C320 4Matic with 168k on the dash. I recently bought the car, it has a good history and was dealer maintained and garaged all its life.
so far the car runs and drive great and the transmission seems fine.
My question is, should I do a transmission service on the car as preventative maintenance? The last one was one in 2008 @115k miles.
im nervous to touch the transmission as it’s currently running fine and I don’t want to cause any problems.
P.S. I plan to keep the car for as long as possible

Maybe I'd leave it alone. It was service then and they do eventually wear out anyways and if you change it now it might start slipping
