I bought a 2007 Toyota solara convertible v6 3.3L in August, the car had 104k on it and now has 109k and runs and shifts great no problems. The owner has no record of a fluid change so I am assuming it's the same old fluid, is it safe to drain and fill with genuine Toyota atf fluid?
The general consensus that I know of is that if it's the same as always and never changed keep it as changing to all new could cause some problems. That being said it is only 100k, you should be fine if the color is more or less the same, if you got a dipstick go check if the fluid is still red and not like a faded red-brown. If it is faded then keep if not change should be fine.
I just checked it, it still looks red/pinkish when I wiped the dipstick with a paper towel, I'm not sure if I am able to upload a photo of it on the forum but it was really dirty or gritty so I think I will go for it and save the old fluid just in case
Check the fluid with the DIPSTICK, If it's not too bad - replace.
