I am looking at some 2003-2009 Crown Victorias for my first car. Some of them are located at dealerships and some private sellers and I'm wondering if they're good cars and if I should get one. Also, I'm wondering how much the insurance is for a 16-year-old if anyone could get me an estimate on that? Here are links to some I haven't looked at these in person, and yes I know 1 is an auction but I'm still interested in it and might get it depending on how expensive it gets.

They are good solid cars but be sure to have a mechanic check out any that you are serious about - you're talking about 14-20 year old vehicles here that have had plenty of opportunity to develop problems. Aside from checking major components be aware that these cars can develop HVAC problems as they age that require dashboard removal to repair.
Yeah I’ve heard that shouldn’t be that big of a deal but do they have dashboard issues in general I’ve seen multiple cars that had some type of dashboard issue like the odometer was working on and off and some that the whole cluster wouldn’t work off and on
For insurance quote, go call yourself. Don't expect it to be cheap though, you are under 18 much less 21. Here in Cali you would be looking at 2k for 6 months easy for full coverage minimum.
As for the car, If you don't care about gas mileage, they have very little problems if well maintained. Some minor wiring issues but that can be easily fixed by rerouting them away from the engine. Let's just say there is a reason that they were the most common cop and taxis for a while.
The insurance won’t be that much here I live in Missouri and the insurance prices aren’t even that much for a new car
They were solid cars, bit of an old man vibe but you'll have plenty of room for friends or moving other stuff around. Have a mechanic look over whatever youre thinking about getting.
As far as insurance, it depends on many factors so noone can tell you exactly. Id say look into getting different types of discounts, I think a few years ago when I was in high school I got a few % off for being a good student in school.
Yeah I don’t care that it’s kind of an old man car I personally think that’s more of the Mercury but yeah I plan on doing some mods nothing crazy though and here they don’t give you a discount for good grades but you can take drivers Ed and if you get a good grade in there you can get 15-25% off
Here is Car Wizard's take on the Crown Vic (also applies to Mercury Marquis):
