Hi Scotty I hope you are doing well. I have a friend who is out of the country until October and left me her 2008 honda fit so I can drive it in the mean time. It was poorly maintained. One think that concerns me is that it shifts very bad, slips or shifts rough . When I checked the ATF dip stick it had barely any fluid, jacked it up in the air and saw it is leaking transmission fluid. Should i top it or drain it and change it entirely? I am worried i can mess it up more if i completely drain it and put new transmission fluid. It has 169k and seems like it was never changed. What should i do? I ordered 4 quarts Honda genuine ATF fluid DW1, drain plug gasket and the filter .
