Because it's garbage that will have no effect beyond pulling money out of your wallet, assuming it doesn't actually do any damage. Why would you want to use it?

The owners manual for your 2010 Volvo S80 recommends using Castro Premium or Synthetic 5w-30 motor oil, as you are doing.
It also states in bold print:
Oil additives must not be used.
That should be Castrol, not Castro.😉
