My Cadillac 2012 CTS4 hops a bit when I turn all the way to the left in a parking lot. The local Cadi shop said I need a transfer case. I had the speed ring on the front right and the reluctor rings on the back done so I figured it just needed the L/F speed ring. I moved to Colorado so I took it to the NAPA shop nearby in Avon. They say replace the transfer case. Do you think I have to replace the transfer case?

After 13 years, it's very possible. Impossible to tell from here.
Do all four tires have the exact same diameter (AWD requires they be within 1/8" tolerance)
Have you been servicing the transfer case fluid regularly? (50-60k) I would at least get a look at the fluid to see what it looks like.
Have you run a diagnostic scan?
